About the author:

Dr Michael E. Bernard, an international consultant to the education, sports, and business communities, is a former professor at the University of Melbourne and an Emeritus Professor at California State University, Long Beach. He founded You Can Do It! Education, Australia’s first K-12 social-emotional learning program, now used in over 5,000 schools worldwide. Michael was the first sports psychologist for Collingwood Football Club and co-founded the Australian Institute for Rational Emotive Therapy. He has authored or edited more than 50 books on peak performance, procrastination, stress management, and mental health.
