Constant exposure to pesticides in your foods can induce negative modifications to the immune system.

Constant exposure to pesticides in your foods can induce negative modifications to the immune system.

Immunotoxicology is a big word we need to pay attention to.

It is the science of Occupational and Environmental exposure to pesticides and chronic disease.

The regular use of poisonous, toxic pesticides in modern agriculture is dangerous. On the flip side it has seen a rather large upswing in the organic food markets in the Western world.

Exposure to pesticides induces modifications in the immune system according to the specific pesticide and includes the alteration of well-regulated immune responses to tumour antigens, allergens, self-antigens and microbial antigens that can increase the susceptibility of the organism to infections and to develop various types of cancer.

The available knowledge base suggests that exposure to pesticides may result in detrimental reproductive changes, neurological dysfunction and several chronic disorders.

Moreover, an ever-increasing amount of data have identified an association between exposure to pesticides and harmful effects on the immune system.

Be selective with what you eat. The effects are delayed and can sometimes be catastrophic. Your immune system deserves better!
